Welcome to 'OK2learn'
I am Kent Eaton,.a learning consultant and a long time advocate of, free learning alternatives to compulsory school. Terms frequently used to describe such learning environments are; Unschooling, Natural Learning, Child-led Learning and Autonomous Learning.
All of these terms are reflected in what I refer to as 'Learning Freely'.
I founded a non profit educational foundation, Alternative Learning Organization In May of 1999. ALO was founded in The Netherlsnds and so it is also known by it's official Dutch name, "stichting alternatieve leervormen".
In addition to it's learning related projects ALO/SAL operates several web sites assciated with alternatives to public or state schools and Compulsory (forced) schooling.
This blog is my personal blog, in which I will express my perspective on various topics I consider to be related to learning and particularly 'learning freely'
This may include articles I have written, as well as related articles by others.
